Medical Wizards was founded in 2000 by Grant E. Fraser, MD, a practicing ER physician who recognized the need for portable software designed to work how the experienced practitioner thinks. Our initial offering in November 2000, Drip Calculator, became the prototype upon which our award-winning Medical ToolBox series was built. As the use of mobile technology in healthcare has grown, Medical Wizards has responded with mobile versions of leading references including: Netter’s Anatomy Flash Cards, Davis Drug Guide for Nurses, 5-Minute Clinical Consult, and the Merck Veterinary Manual, with more titles being added regularly.
Developed for medical professionals, by medical professionals, we strive to make our software as user friendly and flexible as possible, allowing for varying practice protocols that will match most healthcare institutions. Our software is updated on a regular basis, and is available for use on multiple platforms (i.e. Apple, Palm OS, Windows Mobile).
