  • Why do customers have to create an account with us?

    We use this information to verify your credit card details when purchasing for your protection. This also allows customers to view their purchased products under the My Account section, activate products online, and to email order details and registration information to unlock your software without delay.

  • Why do I have to sign in?

    Our users have to sign in when unlocking their software, or when purchasing on our website. This allows for secure shopping and privacy, a faster shopping process, allows us to customize your online experience, and to provide enhanced account features.

  • What is your policy on refunds?

    All of our software is available for free trial use, so users can evaluate before buying. Products are eligible for refunds within 30 days of purchase, unless you have registered and received an Unlock code. Once an Unlock code has been issued, a purchase can no longer be refunded.

    Please note:
    Bundle products can only be refunded if none of the individual products contained have been issued an Unlock code. Once any of the individual bundle products received an unlock code, a bundle product can no longer be refunded.
    Gold Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.

  • Do you offer any group or institutional discounts?

  • I have forgotten/lost my password. How do I gain access to my account again?

    Please click here to navigate to the Forgot your password page - then enter your account email address and click the submit button. As soon as this is done we will email your password to you.

  • My email address (or account information) has changed. How do I update this?

    Please click here to navigate to My Account and Log in using your old email address and password. Then click the Edit Account button, at which point you can change your email address or any other details that need to be updated. When done just click the submit button to apply your changes.

  • How do I use my Activation Key to activate software on my Apple device?

    **You will need wireless access to complete this installation.

    1. Tap the "Safari" icon to open the web browser, enter the URL: mwiz://register and then tap the "Go" button. Your device will redirect to a screen requesting an Activation Key.
    2. Enter the Activation Key from your confirmation email. The button below the Activation Key will change to "Submit Activation Key". Tap this button.
    3. Upon successful registration, a "Success" alert will be shown indicating that your Activation Key has been accepted. Tap "OK".
    4. Go to the "Updates" tab and tap "Check for updates". Install the update by tapping the "Install XX updates (XX.X MB)" button.
    5. Press the home button and your new subscription should appear within your application on the launcher screen.

  • How often do you update your products?

    Medical Wizards is continually researching and developing its products to ensure they remain at the cutting edge of medicine and technology. As a result we release product upgrades every 3-12 months (depending on product). We recommend you upgrade at least every 12 months to ensure that you're using the most up-to-date protocols and medical information. Certain product content is static or gets updated infrequently, so please check your product description for more information on upgrade frequency.

  • How do your Membership plans and One-time activations work?

    All our current products are sold with a Standard (or Silver) membership included (depending on product). These can then be upgraded to our Gold Membership Plan (which provides premium membership benefits detailed below), or a one-time activation can be purchased. Please check your product description (or My Account) for more information on your product/account membership status.

    Standard Membership Plan Benefits:
    - Unlimited email support for the life of your products.
    - Phone support: receive phone support for 3 months following purchase.
    - Re-activations or device changes: you are allowed 2 reinstallations of your programs on the same or another device (or OS) at no cost.
    - You can then either purchase a one-time activation at nominal cost (which would allow for 2 more activations), or you can upgrade to our Gold Membership Plan.

    Silver Membership Plan Benefits:
    - Unlimited email support for the life of your products.
    - Extended phone support: receive phone support for the duration of the membership, which will be 12 months following purchase (Standard Membership phone support is only available for 3 months following purchase).
    - Unlimited re-activations or device changes: this will allow you to reinstall your programs on the same or another device (or OS) at no cost for the duration of the membership
    - You can then either purchase a one-time activation at nominal cost (which would allow for 2 more activations), or you can upgrade to our Gold Membership Plan.
    - Silver Membership only applies to active (non-expired) products.

    One-Time Activations:
    - This option is given to Standard membership (or expired silver/gold membership) users who have activated their products 2 times at no cost.
    - You can then either purchase a one-time activation at nominal cost (which would allow for 2 more activations), or you can upgrade/renew to our Gold Membership Plan.

    Gold Membership Plan Benefits:
    - Unlimited email support for the life of your products.
    - Extended phone support: receive phone support for the duration of the membership, which will be 12 months following purchase (Standard Membership phone support is only available for 3 months following purchase).
    - This will cover all your Medical Wizards products for the duration of the membership
    - Unlimited re-activations or device changes: this will allow you to reinstall your programs on the same or another device (or OS) at no cost for the duration of the membership
    - Membership discount: receive an additional 10% off discount coupon that can be used for the duration of the membership (12 months following purchase)
    - Gold Membership is a one year renewable membership plan that will ensure proper support, re-activations/device changes, and discounts on future purchases - which for active users should pay for itself many times over!
    - Gold Membership only applies to active (non-expired) products.
    - Gold Membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.
    - Discount coupons cannot be applied to past purchases or used on gift cards, bundled products, or membership fees.

  • How does your subscription period work?

    All our products currently operate under a subscription period, so please check your product description for more information on what this is. Most products are on a 12 month subscription period, and those updated infrequently are on a 24 month subscription period. This period starts as soon as software has been purchased/registered on our website. During the subscription period you will receive free upgrades/updates to your software. However free upgrades/updates are no longer possible, unless a subscription renewal is purchased, at which point you will receive free upgrades/updates again for the remainder of the subscription period. You can receive more subscription information on your products from My Account.

  • How do I purchase Medical Wizards software titles on my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?

    First you will need to install the Medical Wizards Library application onto your Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. If you haven't installed the Medical Wizards Library application, follow the 'How do I install the Medical Wizards Library application on my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?' steps below.

    ** You will need wireless access to complete this process.

    1. In the Medical Wizards Library application, tap the 'Catalog' icon on the bottom menu to open up the Medical Wizards Library Catalog.
    2. Tap 'All Titles' to view a list of all available Medical Wizards software titles, or tap a category to view software titles by specialized categories.
    3. Tap on each title to view more details and a full product description.
    4. To purchase a software title, tap the blue arrow on the top right corner of the product description page. Tap the 'Buy Now' button to purchase a software title.
    5. A pop-up window will appear asking you to create a new Medical Wizards account. Follow the steps to create an account and finalize your purchase. If you already have an account, select 'I Have An Account' and enter your account information to log-in.
    6. A pop-up window will appear letting you know your purchase is complete.
    7. Once your purchase has been finalized, tap on 'Updates' in the bottom menu of the application.
    8. Tap the 'Check for Updates' button and then tap it again to begin the title download and installation. Once the installation is complete, tap 'Library' in the bottom menu to take you to the Library screen where you will see the icon for your new title. To launch your new title, tap the icon.

  • How do I purchase Medical Wizards software titles for Apple on the Medical Wizards website?

    1. From the Medical Wizards homepage, click on the 'Products' tab across the top menu bar. A list of all available Medical Wizards software titles will load.
    2. Click on the 'details' link for each desired software title to check if the title is available for Apple devices. Any product that has the Apple logo displayed under the product description summary can be purchased for the iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Please note that not all products are currently available for the Apple OS. If the Apple logo does not appear under the description summary, then the product is not available for Apple devices.
    3. To purchase a software title, click on the 'Buy' link from the product details page. The title will then be automatically added to your shopping cart.
    4. Click the 'Proceed to checkout' button to checkout, or you may continue shopping for other software titles if desired.
    5. Follow the shopping cart steps to continue your purchase.
    Once your purchase is complete, a purchase confirmation page will come up that includes your product serial number. This number will also be emailed to you. The product serial number will be used to download the software title onto your Apple device.   • How do I install the Medical Wizards Library application on my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch?

    ** You will need wireless access to complete this installation.

    1. To install the Medical Wizards Library application onto your device, tap the 'App Store' icon.
    2. Tap the 'Search' icon in the bottom nav bar and search for 'Medical Wizards.'
    3. Tap 'medical wizards library' and it will take you to the Medical Wizards Library application.
    4. Tap the Medical Wizards icon, which will take you to the 'Info' screen.
    5. On the 'Info' screen, tap 'Free' and then tap 'Install.'
    6. Once you have logged into your iTunes account, the download will begin and the Medical Wizards Library icon will appear on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch screen.

  • How do I use a Product Serial Number to activate software on my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch?

    ** You will need wireless access to complete this installation.

    1. Install the Medical Wizards Library application from the App Store (on your device, click the App Store icon and search for 'Medical Wizards,' or click here to install this application through iTunes on your desktop).
    2. Tap the Medical Wizards icon on your device, and select 'Catalog' in the bottom menu.
    3. Tap the 'I have a Subscription Key' button at the top of the Catalog screen and you will be prompted to login to your Medical Wizards account (or create one if you do not already have an account).
    4. Enter the code contained in your purchase confirmation email and you will receive a message that the product has been successfully registered to your account.
    5. Tap 'Updates' in the bottom menu.
    6. Tap the 'Check for Updates' button and then tap it again to begin the download and installation. Once the installation is complete, tap 'Library' in the bottom menu to take you to the Library screen where you will see the icon for your new title.

  • How do I install a product update on my Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch?

    2. Tap the 'Updates' icon in the bottom navigation bar.
    3. Tap the 'Check for Updates' button. The button will change to say 'Checking for Updates...' and will automatically search for all available product updates.
    4. If there are updates available, the button will change to say "Install Update'.
    5. Tap the 'Install Update' button to begin the product update(s).
    6. Once the update is finished downloading, you can launch your title by tapping the Library icon in the bottom navigation bar and then tapping the product icon to view your title.

  • How do I update the Medical Wizards Library application on my Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod touch?

    From time to time, the Medical Wizards Library application is updated through the Apple iTunes/App Store to include new features. Please follow these steps to update to the latest version of the application when a new version is released.

    ** You will need wireless access to complete this update.

    1. Open the App Store on your device by selecting the App Store icon.
    2. If there is an update to be completed, it will show with a '1' in red in the top right hand corner of the App store. Tap the App Store icon.
    3. Once you tap the 'App Store' it will take you to a 'Featured' page and show on the far right 1 update, marked in red.
    4. Tap the 'Updates' button on the far right. It will take you to the next page and show an 'Updates' list with the Medical Wizards Library App listed.
    5. Select the blue 'Free' box, then select the green 'install' box.
    6. Before completing the installation, you must enter your iTunes email address and password. Press 'Ok' when finished.
    7. The Medical Wizards Library App will then show as 'loading' while it updates. Once the App is done loading it will reappear. Select the Medical Wizards Library App icon on your device to see the updated version.

  • How do I update to the latest version of my Medical Wizards ToolBox Series software title if I am an active subscriber?

    Medical Wizards is committed to providing frequent product updates to continually improve our software and provide our customers with the most up-to-date clinical tools. All customers that have an active subscription to any Medical Wizards ToolBox Series software title will receive a free product update when a new version of software is released.

    If you have not already downloaded your free product update, please follows these steps to get the update:

    ** You will need wireless access to complete this update.

    1. Open the Medical Wizards Library application on your device.
    2. Tap the 'Updates' icon in the bottom navigation bar.
    3. Tap the 'Check for Updates' button. The button will change to say 'Checking for Updates...' and will automatically search for all available product updates.
    4. If there are updates available, the button will change to say "Install Update'.
    5. Tap the 'Install Update' button to begin the product update(s).
    6. Once the update is finished downloading, you can launch your title by tapping the Library icon in the bottom navigation bar and then tapping the product icon to view your title.

    * Please note, in order to receive your ToolBox updates, you must be running the latest version of the Medical Wizards Library application. If you have not updated to the latest version of the Medical Wizards Library application, you will need to do so before you can get your ToolBox product update.
